Smart Rig UK Smarties

These all in one swivel bead crimp allow you to make perfect rigs in a fraction of the time. Easy to use even when fingers are stiff with cold. Only one piece to thread per snood attachment instead of the usual five. Ideal for clipdowns, bomber and many other rigs.

How to use:

Tie on a lead link using the popular four turn grinner fishing knot or the popular five turn uni knot.
Thread on the Smarties, one for each hook required.
Space out the Smarties and crimp (not too hard).
Tie on the top link or swivel using the four turn grinner fishing knot or the five turn uni knot.
Tie on your hook snoods and hooks (use either the four turn grinner fishing knot or you may prefer to use the five turn blood knot).
Now you can make any spacing adjustments, a firm pull on the Smarties will allow adjustment.

Smartie Bait Clips

Rotten Bottom & Bait Clips - Sold in packs of 25

For use as a rotten bottom device, just secure it to the end of your leader/main line alongside your weight's weak link line. Before you cast, hook the weight onto the Rotten Bottom Clip, which effectively removes the casting load from the weak link, and the weight will release when it hits the water again activating your 'rotten bottom'.

Rotten Bottom Clips can also be very effective as a moveable bait clip. The good old flapper rig is all you need. With these clips you can now convert 1, 2, or 3 hook Flapper Rigs to Clip Up long range rigs. Its so easy with Rotten Bottom Clips. Sold in packs of 25.

How to use:

Pull the loop of the clip onto the line.
Wind the line around the clip to fix its position (tail down for clip down rigs), it can be repositioned or removed by reversing the process.
You position the clip so that the hook locates where you require it, (invert the clip for clip up rigs).
For best result, the rigs should be clipped up.
